R.I.P Georgie the Snail.

I am sad to report, Bloggiverse, that Georgie the Snail Mail Eating Snail has left us in what can only be described as a tragic incident.

We sent SnL to go check the mail... in the dark.

He came back inside with a fist full of partially shredded envelopes and a very guilty look on his face.

"No one was that attached to the snail in the letterbox, were they? I mean it was just a--"

DJ and I scrambled to our feet. "No! Georgie! What did you do?"

While backing toward the door, SnL said, "Well, it's dark out there and I grabbed a handful of mail and there was something ginormous and round sitting on it and I went--"  insert manic dance with waving arms and panicked expression, "--and sort of accidentally flicked the mail really hard and the snail went flying off it and..."

He hung his head.

Poor Georgie.

At least he had his favorite dinner for his last meal.

Thank you, Lydia. He will be sorely missed (hehe)

Jen, Well, of course I'll still talk to you. Our affection for poor Georgie cannot possibly be understood by everyone :D

Jennifer, according to SnL's depiction (frantic panicked dancing and much flinging about of limbs) I suspect it was very quick indeed. Poor wee Georgie :D

Anna, thank you. You're so kind. I'm sure Georgie would appreciate it too, if he ... were... still with...us .... *sob!*

LOL, I did that same dance the other day when a huntsman was attached to the end of something I picked up. Big wet snail in the dark, yep that would do it.

Lyn, ehheh thank you! Random stuff tends to happen to me so it's not terribly hard to make random posts LOL :D

Wendi... a huntsman? Oh lordy. I won't be dancing, I'll be unconscious on the floor! I am SO worried about meeting my first one!
